Our Special Cruises offer an opportunity to see and do things a little differently. Scheduled at different times throughout the year, each one is a real treat. Numbers on each cruise are strictly limited though, so we highly recommend booking yours today.

  • You can book your tickets in advance knowing that we won’t charge you anything extra for postage or administration.
  • Online advance tickets must be booked at least 5 working days before the date of your sailing to allow time for them to reach you by post.

    Battle of the Atlantic Farewell Cruise departing from Liverpool* - 28-May-2013

    A unique opportunity to take part in the 70th Anniversary Commemoration Flotilla as the visiting vessels set sail from Liverpool on Tuesday 28th May.

     

    The 70th anniversary of the Battle Of The Atlantic will be commemorated in an event on the River Mersey between Friday 24th and Tuesday 28th May inclusive. Naval vessels from different countries including Europe, Russia, and Canada will visit Liverpool for the event which will be the final time The Battle Of The Atlantic is commemorated.

    'Liverbird' Discovery and Heritage Cruise - 26-Jun-2013

    Mersey Ferries, National Museums Liverpool, RSPB, Merseyside Recycling & Waste Authority and Big Heritage have joined forces to once again host the hugely popular Liverbird Discovery Cruises on the River Mersey and out into the bay. The cruises are perfect for those whom are both new and experienced watchers. As well as a running commentary by RSPB experts, an Archaeologist from Big Heritage will also be exploring human activities through the ages, on and around the River, with fascinating facts including explanations of local place names. Bring your own binoculars if you have them. Refreshments and toilets can be found on board on the main deck. Tickets are £14 adults & £7 child (3-15) Departs Seacombe at 1.00pm, Pier Head at 1.10pmand Woodside at 1.20pm. Cruise duration approx 2.5 – 3 hours.
