See Cunard’s new Ship ‘Queen Anne’ from our River Explorer Cruise

We’re delighted to welcome the visit of Cunard’s newest ship ‘Queen Anne’ to Liverpool on Monday 3 June 2024. The visit will include a spectacular Naming Ceremony which will be the highlight of a day of celebration for ‘Queen Anne’.

‘Queen Anne’ is the 249th ship to sail under the Cunard’s flag and their first new ship for 14 years. A Cunard visit always plays a highly significant role in Liverpool’s cruise season, as the first Cunard sailing departed Liverpool in 1840 and the city was home to their Head Office for nearly 130 years.

We can offer groups the opportunity to view this magnificent new ship from the deck of the Mersey Ferry! Our scheduled cruises will sail close to ‘Queen Anne’, offering the opportunity to see the ship in front of the stunning Liverpool waterfront. Cruises will include live commentary and live music. This will be an unforgettable experience as part of a group visit to Liverpool.

In addition to seeing the brand-new ship, visitors can sit back, relax and soak in the rich and fascinating history of the city aboard the world-famous Mersey Ferry.

We have availability for coach and tour operators to request bookings on the following cruises departing from Liverpool, Pier Head - 10am, 11am 12noon and 1pm. Cruises will depart from Seacombe, Wirral at 20 past the hour. Group rate is £10.25pp for groups of 20 or more.
