At Mersey Ferries, we have been progressively improving accessibility throughout our terminals and vessels. Our aim is to ensure that all our customers are catered for, and there are no barriers to traveling with us.
- The Manchester Ship Canal Cruise vessel is fully accessible on the main deck. Access to the top deck is via steps only.
- Accessible toilets and catering facilities are available on the main deck of the vessel.
- Wheelchairs are available at Pier Head landing stage for any customer that requires one. Please ask for assistance from any member of staff.
- At least one of the buses used for the return trip at the end of the cruise will be an accessible bus. This has access for one upright wheelchair and a further three if folded. When booking your tickets for the cruise, please inform our staff if you need to use the accessible bus.
Please note that The Manchester Ship Canal passes through a number of industrial complexes. Vapours in the air may irritate those with respiratory problems.
