Spaceport is a 10m attraction covering the subjects of space and space travel. From 23rd May 2008 to 11 January 2009 Spaceport is hosting
exhibition. This amazing, new exhibition features unique behind the sceens insights into how the programme is made. Interactives and displays show how Doctor Who is created from script to screen including how those fanastic special effects are produced!.
During this period, one entrance fee covers entry to the exhibition along with all Spaceport's other galleries.
Spaceport taskes you on an inspirational journey through space as you walk through several differently themed galleries which all feature a large variety of interactive hands-on exhibits and an audio visual experiences. A visit to Spaceport typically takes at least two hours.
Spaceport is located at the Seacombe Ferry Terminal, Victoria Place, Wallasey, Wirral, so you can easily combine a visit to Spaceport with a trip on the Mersey Ferry.
