Under and Over the Mersey – Sunday 19th July 2009
The Queensway Tunnel 75th anniversary is an experience not to be missed, the chance to walk back in time through Liverpool’s Mersey Tunnel. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Merseytravel’s corporate charity for 2009; the very worthwhile Claire House children’s hospice. There will be five staged walks through the tunnel from Liverpool to Birkenhead. 10.30am, 11.15am, 12 noon, 12.45pm, 1.30pm Individual Tickets are priced at £5 and Family Tickets (2 adults and 2 children) are £15.
