The sounds of the 60s guarantee a great party! Back by popular demand are the fantastic 'Rubber Sole', along with Krazy Lez, to relive the crazy nostalgic days of 60s dance nights on the river. Dress for the era if you dare and a bottle of champagne will go to the best male & female costumes.

Summer Party Night - Saturday 28 June 2008 & Friday 25 July 2008
With all your favourites from the 70s to the present day, you can't help but have a brilliant night out with our resident DJ Krazy Lez. Bring out your favourite clothes from your favourite era and you could win a bottle of champagne; there are prizes for the best male and female costumes.

18 – 21 JULY 2008 – THE TALL SHIPS’ RACES
Liverpool is the host port for the start of the Tall Ships’ Races 2008. The fleet will be berthed in Liverpool from 18 to 21 July. The large Class A Tall Ships will be berthed in Wellington and Sandon Half Tide Docks. The class B, C, and D vessels will be berthed in Albert, Canning and Canning Half Term Dock. Mersey Ferries will be operating our River Explorer Cruises on the 18, 19 & 20 with enhanced services on the 19 & 20 (departures available every 30 minutes) approximately). On Monday 21, there will be no ferry service between 1pm and 3.30pm due to the parade of sail. However, River Explorer Cruises will be operating before 1pm and after 3.30pm.

Liverbird Discovery Cruises
Mersey Ferries, National Museums Liverpool and the RSPB are once again proud to host the annual Liverbird Discovery Cruises on the River Mersey and out into the bay. Previous sightings have included long-tailed skuas, peregrine falcons, osprey and Atlantic seals. The RSPB will provide a running commentary and experts will be on hand to answer your questions. These cruises are extremely popular so advanced booking is necessary.

The cruise departs Seacombe at 11.00am, Pier Head at 11.10am and Woodside at 11.20am.
Wednesday 24 September 2008.
The cruise departs Seacombe at 1.00pm, Pier Head at 1.10pm and Woodside at 1.20pm.

Rock with Elvis - Thursday 14 August 2008
Martin Fox, plus the Sun Rockers tribute band, presents his Elvis Las Vegas show, featuring all the hits Elvis performed for his fans in the 70s. The Sun Rockers are a musical tribte to Sun Studios and they'll be playing the hits of Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and many more pioneers of rock 'n' roll. The top rock 'n' roll DJ, Mike Rossi, will present the evening.

Beatles Cruises - Friday 22 August & Saturday 23 August 2008
Again we are proud to be taking part in the world famous Beatles Week Festival. Back by popular demand, the fantastic 'Ringer' bringing with them two guest support bands who will be playing all the best and most popular songs of the Fab Four.
Please note there will be standing room only during the bands' performances. Seating is available in the upper saloon bar.

Rock with Country Cruise -Thursday 25 September 2008
Join us for an evening to remember with Kenny Johnson and Jukebox Eddie's.
Top performer Kenny Johnson has entertained audiences since the 60s with his bands, the Hillsiders and Northwind and is also known for his 'Sounds Country' programme on Radio Merseyside. Jukebox Eddie's is one of the best rock 'n' roll bands in the area playing Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis and Buddy Holly.

QE2 Viewing Cruise - 3 October 2008
Pre-bookable hourly cruises to view the QE2 for the very last time before she heads off to Dubai to become a luxury hotel. Boarding and disembarking will be at Seacombe ONLY. A live commentary will provide fascinating facts about this magnificent vessel on her last ever visit to Liverpool. Cruises depart hourly from 11.00am and will last 45 minutes. Last cruise will be at 4.00pm.
Tickets are £10.00 for adults and £5.00 for children (3-15 years). Advance booking necessary for a specific departure, subject to availability.

QE2 Evening Farewell Cruise - Friday 3 October 2008
Follow this majestic vessel out of the river as she leaves Liverpool for the very last time. The cruise departs Seacombe at 6.45pm and Liverpool at 7.00pm. Please allow plenty of time for car parking. The QE2 is scheduled to leave her berth at 8.00pm.
