A great day out on the Mersey - 5*
"We prebooked the ferry trip together with a combined ticket to The Beatles Story. We got off at the space museum which currently has a private Stars Wars collection on display. The space show was particularly good - great for kids as it's very visual and simple to follow. Next stop was U-boat Story which we thought was amazing. It’s very well done and we learnt lots. All in all a great day!"
Loved taking the ferry 'cross the Mersey! - 5*
"This was one of our 'must do' things on the itinerary on our recent trip to Liverpool. We booked our cruise on Snowdrop via the website which was as easy as anything, and we benefited from a discounted booking price. We took the 11am crossing which was very busy but there was plenty of seating. We thought the playing of Gerry and The Pacemakers 'Ferry Across the Mersey' was a cute touch! We got off the ferry at Woodside to visit U-boat Story - very informative and told the story very well. We enjoyed this experience a lot and would definitely recommend it as something to do while in Liverpool."
The only way to see the Mersey - 5*
"A must do trip whilst visiting this amazing city. A great way to see all the iconic buildings on the shoreline. We enjoyed a nice cup of tea and a Tunnocks teacake, whilst taking in the bracing air and sights!"
A must-do! - 5*
"This iconic ferry is one of the highlights of Liverpool....I have lost count of the times I have been on it and every time is a delight! The round trip takes almost an hour and the view of the Liverpool skyline from the other side of the Mersey takes some beating! You can also get off at the other stops to explore as your ticket is valid all day. Getting off at Seacombe and walking along by the river is great in the sunshine! The commentary on board is interesting and when 'that song' is played you can't help but smile!"
