Manchester Ship Canal Cruises
Important boarding information for groups.
Please arrive at your departure point at least 30 minutes prior to departure. Please can the group organiser or coach driver present the group ticket with QR code to our team at the ferry terminal. Passengers will need to complete a boarding card at the terminal prior to boarding the ferry.
At Seacombe, Wallasey, coaches can drop off outside the terminal building. The post code for Seacombe is CH44 6QY. There is free coach parking at Woodside Terminal, Birkenhead, CH41 6DU which is 1.5 miles from Seacombe Terminal. Woodside is currently closed for refurbishment, but free coach parking is still available.
At Liverpool Gerry Marsden Ferry Terminal (Pier Head) coaches can drop off on Canada Boulevard, which is very close to the ferry terminal. There is no longer access to Canada Boulevard via Mann Island. Please follow the new signage to the waterfront from The Strand. The post code for the Pier Head is L3 1DP.
In the event of difficulty on the day, please call our contact centre on 0151 330 1003 (open 9am to 5pm, 7 days a week) and they will be able to contact the staff at the vessel.

Cruises last approximately 6-7 hours. You will depart from Liverpool or Wirral, sail along the Manchester Ship Canal towards Warrington and enjoy a return trip along the canal before being dropped at your original departure point. The cruise will depart from Seacombe at the scheduled departure time and call at Liverpool 10 minutes later.
The duration of this cruise can be variable due to weather, possible lock delays and having to give priority to commercial shipping traffic. Please be flexible with your onward travel arrangements and timings due to the variable duration of this cruise. The actual route and turning point of the cruise may vary.
The main deck of the ferry is wheelchair accessible and toilet facilities for passengers with disabilities are available on this deck. Access to the top deck is via steps only. Please note that outdoor areas on the main deck are limited.
There is no parking alongside the vessel at any departure point. The distances from the nearest drop off points to the ferry are: Seacombe - 150m, Liverpool Gerry Marsden (Pier Head) - 150m.
Mersey Ferries staff will be on-hand at the departure points to give you additional assistance.
