River Explorer Cruise

Hop on the world-famous Mersey Ferry this October Half Term and enjoy the perfect family day out on a River Explorer Cruise!

See Liverpool and Wirral’s incredible waterfront and take in the best views along the riverside on this 50-minute sightseeing cruise.

Experience live commentary from one of our expert Blue Badge Guides (select sailings only), sit back and enjoy as they reveal surprising facts about the ferry and River Mersey and delve into Liverpool’s maritime history, wartime past and tell you all about city’s rich musical heritage. It’ll be a treat for mini historians in the making!

Plus on Wednesday 27 October you can sail past Royal Caribbean’s ground breaking ship Anthem of the Seas, whilst it is docked at Liverpool Cruise Terminal, and give the passengers on board a wave as our Blue Badge Guide tells you all you need to know about this fantastic cruise liner (live commentary on select sailings only).

Live commentary from a Blue Badge Guide will take place on the following River Explorer Cruises:

  • Tuesday 26 October: 1pm, 2pm and 3pm
  • Wednesday 27 October: 1pm, 2pm and 3pm
  • Thursday 28 October: 1pm, 2pm and 3pm

Our expert recorded commentary will play as normal on all other River Explorer Cruise sailings.

The fun doesn’t stop there, you can also hop off the ferry at Woodside and visit Woodside Ferry Village for some delicious food and drink.

Happy half term everyone!

Enhanced Cleaning

We’ve introduced enhanced cleaning measures and installed hand sanitiser stations on the ferry and at our terminals.

Social Distancing
