Working closely with partners at Everton Football Club and Liverpool City Council, the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority has helped develop a plan for transport to ensure journeys to and from the new stadium are as easy, smooth and safe as possible.
Plans include a special direct Mersey Ferries sailing between The Liverpool Gerry Marsden Ferry Terminal and Seacombe Ferry Terminal. The stadium is around a 30 min walk from Liverpool’s Pier Head. If passenger numbers are strong enough similar services could become a regular feature of matchdays and major events.
Fans are advised to check before they travel. Visit the Merseytravel website for full transport advice for the event.
Our matchday cross-river shuttle service on Sunday 24 August will start from 11am at Seacombe until 12:40pm.
For the return journey, the cross-river shuttle will commence at 4:50pm and operate until 6:50pm, allowing fans time to walk back from the stadium after the game.
We will be operating a matchday cross-river shuttle service for the night game on Wednesday 27 August.
Ticket prices:
Only matchday cross-river tickets will be sold for the direct shuttles – card payment only at the terminals
Adult - Matchday Return Ticket - £4
Child (aged 5-18) - Matchday Return Ticket - £2
Concessionary & Disabled Travel Cards alongside appropriate zoned Saveaways, Care Leaver Passes and Staff Travel Passes are valid.
