Seacombe Ferry Terminal Refurbishment Works

Seacombe ferry terminal is closing for major refurbishment work to replace the linkspan bridges and refurbish the landing stage. The mooring bollards will also be upgraded and new powered gangways will be installed. This important work will ensure that our iconic ferries can sail along the River Mersey for many years to come, helping passengers to cross the river quickly and see the best views of Liverpool’s famous skyline. The last services from Seacombe terminal will set sail on Friday 18 December 2020.

Services from Pier Head to Woodside

All ferry services from Monday 4 January 2021 will set sail from Pier Head Liverpool and call at Woodside ferry terminal, whilst Seacombe is closed. Our regular daily services will continue with our Commuter Service sailing from 07:20am- 09:50am each morning and 5pm- 6:50pm each evening.

Hourly cross river services will operate throughout the week from 10am - 4:30pm and will depart Pier Head on the hour and half past the hour from Woodside. Find out more about times and prices here.

Car parking for passengers that buy weekly, monthly and quarterly or annual passes will remain free of charge at Woodside terminal. For more information and a parking pass, please speak to one of our friendly staff members at the terminal.
