Commuter Services depart each weekday morning and evening and operate between 07:20 – 09:50am and 5pm - 6:50pm.

Cross-river Services sail from 10am-4pm Monday to Friday and 10am-5pm Saturday and Sunday, (until Sunday 16 May).

We are pleased to announce that we are planning for the return of our River Explorer Cruises from 10am on Monday 17 May. Tickets are now on sale. We’ve introduced timed tickets, so you’ll need to book online before you set sail. 

All services will sail from Pier Head and Woodside terminals, whilst Seacombe is closed for major refurbishment work.

Face coverings must be worn at all times on the ferry and in the terminals. Remember to keep a safe distance from other passengers and check in with the QR codes to comply with track and trace legislation. Find more information and prices on our Current Service Information page.

Evening Cruises with Live Music 

Our 2 ½ hour Evening Cruises feature live music from the best local talent, a fully licensed bar and unbelievable views of Liverpool's UNESCO World Heritage Waterfront.

For groups planning a visit to Liverpool in 2021, a Mersey Ferries' Evening Cruise is the perfect addition to any itinerary! Group rate 20+ £17pp (published rate £20pp)

Cruises depart from Woodside (Wirral) at 7:30pm and Pier Head (Liverpool) at 7:45pm.

The programme of cruises, which set sail from June to August, will be confirmed in 2021.

Themed Evening Cruises 2021

Additional Cruise Information

Light refreshments will be available for purchase on board. Any alcohol must be bought on board the ferry.

Coaches can drop off and pick up at Canada Boulevard just in front of the Mersey Ferries Pier Head Ferry Terminal.

The live music performance area is situated on the upper deck, which is accessible by stairs only. The main deck of the vessel is fully accessible and includes accessible toilet and bar area.
