If you're looking for the perfect trip for your class, how about a cruise on the iconic Mersey Ferry?

Our 50-minute River Explorer Cruise is the best way to see and learn about Liverpool and Wirral's world-famous waterfronts. The expert recorded commentary highlights the River Mersey's key landmarks as well as their history, so the cruise is the perfect mix of fun and education.

Your class will delve into tales from the region's maritime past, hear all about Wirral's notorious smuggler Mother Redcap, learn how the ferries played their part during a daring raid in the First World War and find out more about the city's rich musical heritage.

River Explorer Cruises depart every day, on the hour from Pier Head and also stop at Woodside Ferry Terminal on the 50-minute round trip.

For £7 per child, your class will experience an exciting day out with Mersey Ferries. Plus, we offer one free ticket for a teacher per every 6 paying children.
